At the beginning of June, John Hegley, author of 'Uncut Confetti' and a host of other poetry, performed at Cressing Temple Barn. Reece Productions were enlisted by Essex County Council to provide production services for the event at the 12th Century barns. "We supplied a 5m by 4m Alideck stage from LX Communications, with a pair of EX10's and a Spirit folio for audio and two stands with a selection of Source4 Par's and Profiles for lighting the stage and barn. It is a beautiful space to work in, and we decided it was essential to ensure the production equipment took nothing away from the surroundings, so we kept kit to a minimum whilst ensuring everyone could see and hear the performance. Fire safety is also paramount in ancient wooden structures like this one, so we took along extra Co2 extinguishers to ensure that we would be fully equipped if anything got a bit too hot!"
